In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, supporting site civil and linear infrastructure efforts for both industrial and local municipal clients. Qualifications:

Job Description: Benchmark Management is currently offering a full-time opportunity for a Construction Manager to join their team. This role entails representing Bench Mark Management and their clients on construction projects, specifically within the water and wastewater infrastructure sector. The Construction Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and construction phases of projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess a robust background in construction management, preferably with experience in water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Essential skills include excellent communication, project management, and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop and manage project plans, encompassing schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders and define project goals and objectives.
  • Design and Engineering: Collaborate closely with design and engineering teams to ensure that designs are constructible and meet safety and regulatory standards.
  • Procurement and Contracts: Manage the procurement process for materials, equipment, and services required for the project. Negotiate and oversee contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Construction Oversight: Supervise the construction process, including contractor scheduling, safety inspections, and quality control. Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and regulations.
  • Cost Management: Monitor project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities. Develop and manage cost estimates and budgets, ensuring costs stay within budget limits.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication with project stakeholders, including sponsors, regulatory bodies, contractors, and the public. Address concerns promptly and keep all parties informed of project progress.
  • Safety and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all work complies with safety regulations and legal requirements. Develop and implement safety programs to ensure a safe work environment for all project personnel.
  • Project Closeout: Coordinate the project’s closeout phase, including final inspections, punch lists, and the completion of all necessary documentation.
